SAHARA, INC., a professional construction services provider, was founded in 1985 in West Bountiful, Utah. In 1989, a client of Sahara’s expanded their business into the Phoenix market, providing us with a great opportunity to create a new office and manage the construction of several new buildings in the Southwest. Since then Sahara has established itself as the premiere builder of automotive facilities in the valley with 20 facilities and nearly 75 as a firm. Sahara was one of the first construction management-at-risk firms to be hired by the State of Arizona and was awarded a $90 million dollar contract to build new schools and remodel numerous existing facilities in rural areas of the state. Additionally, Sahara has become one of the preferred design builders for Maricopa County after successfully completing their operations and maintenance facility, Northwest Courts and San Tan Courts. Along with the court facilities, we have successfully managed the construction of several juvenile and adult detention facilities. Over the years Sahara has built a solid resume in building office buildings ranging from office condos to mid-rise class “A” buildings as well as sports and entertainment venues and successful delivery of CM@R and Design Build contracts.
